CNCC is chaired by one of the three chapter presidents. Members meet monthly to share ideas and information that will collectively benefit CREW Maryland Suburban, CREW Washington, DC, and CREW Northern Virginia.

In addition, members of CNCC establish goals, delegate and share responsibility of meeting those goals, and devise a timeframe in which to accomplish collective objectives. Chapters share cost and benefits in proportion to membership numbers. CNCC members may vote to re-apportion cost-sharing for a particular project or in special circumstances. Each chapter allocates a specific amount in its annual budget to support the activities of CNCC.

Finally, members of CNCC submit ideas to their respective chapter boards of directors for approval as required, and according to individual chapter bylaws.
